so, being in Junior Senate, we're responsible for prom decorations and whatnot.
ok, cool, whatever.
so our task this afternoon was painting this huge ass bridge that's going to be at the entranceway. it really is ridiculously huge. it's pretty much the size of my bedroom...but we had so much fun. i love those girls (and two guys...kinda. they're tyler and brian, they don't really count). There's this really young, kinda cute (amanda thinks he's "super sexy") janitor at school, and we were pretty much torturing this poor kid. we got him to get us a radio =DD, and we're convinced that amanda's going to put him in her diary tonight. "dear diary...i met this super hot janior guy....named jason. yeah, not Mr. something, JASON). and leaving Brian a voicemail "hey, it's us...get some more paint. and your IHome....and FOOD".
oh, man, i'm gonna miss those kids when we graduate in a year.
i'll take some pictures Saturday and post them. here or livejournal or wherever. or maybe i won't post them. who knows.

i haven't posted on this thing in a while, and that's probably because there really isn't anything worth sharing happening right now. oh dear.
prom is this upcoming weekend. one of my best friends left our group for a boy that she hasn't talked to in a little under a year, and none of us are happy with her right now. but whatever. we're going to have fun without her.
i'm going to South Padre Island, TX again this summer. it's gonna be bomb =D
and...that's about it.

i've been busy with, because of a lack of a better word in my vocabulary, stuff.
school, family, going to Ashland with friends, completely scarring the waitor at Applebee's in Lincoln (his name is Eric. he's a journalism major. he likes Sham Wow commercial parodies. my friends and i now make Eric jokes.), and spending three hours at Westside, a very large, confusing, and complicated school, for driver's ed.
and tonight i'm going shopping for prom dresses, jeans, and kristin's birthday present (she turns 16 this saturday).

i had a throbbing headache earlier today when i was out with some friends.
it kinda sucked...the headache part, that is.
i got smilie face earrings at Claire's. they're fanfuckingtabulous.
we were also looking at dresses for prom, and i found this really pretty dress.
it's white with red around the torso and the strap is one of those that you tie in the back...
but it's $130. ouch. hopefully i'll find another dress that i like more and is less expensive.
and if not, i'll just have to beg my mommy. lots and lots.
it fits our prom theme perfectly.
